THE ROYAL FREE HOSPITAL VASCULAR UNIT WEBSITE

The Royal Free Hospital Vascular Unit is a multidisciplinary medical group managing patients with vascular diseases who have been referred to us from all over the United Kingdom and abroad. We consist of vascular surgeons, radiologists, and chemical pathologists (angiologists). Four technologists run the vascular laboratory and there are three vascular nurses specialist.

We provide a comprehensive 24 hour efficient vascular service to our local  area of North London as well as providing territory referral support for complex vascular cases, including cerebrovascular,  renovascular, and visceral cases. As part of the Royal Free Hospital, which is a large London medical school hospital, we also have a major interest and commitment to teaching and research.
